In developing fragrances, the single most important factor is testing with fragrance fanatics. To become part of our "formulary", the evolving list of fragrances we use in candles and bath products, a fragrance must succeed in tests.
We test a fragrance for how well it "throws" - whether you can smell it easily. We test a fragrance with our growing circle of fragrance fanatic friends, and their friends at home shows. And finally, a fragrance must prove itself at gift shows, where candle lovers can try and select fragrances in comparison and in competition with other fragrances.
By this process, we keep improving your choices and your satisfaction. Of some 30 fragrances we offered seven years ago, only five remain in our formulary today. The formulary we have today is our biggest and best ever, and we keep working to improve it.
